Near the end of 2007, I decided to return to school in pursuit of a degree in Graphic Design. My first class ended up being Web Development. While learning the basics of HTML, Dreamweaver, PHP, and JavaScript; I also began teaching myself Photoshop. It didn't take long before I realized that I loved programming as much as design and decided to change my major to one that would encompass both passions: Web Development. I have since added knowledge of Fireworks, Flash, CGI/Perl, and UNIX/Linux to my repertoire.

I am currently attending Baker College Online and working toward a bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Web Development. I maintain a 4.0 and am a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Early in 2010, I started my own freelance Web design and development business, whysperLoud Studios, where I have been developing and maintaining websites for small businesses and organizations.
