For more than ten years I have worked part time helping my father, Roger Dean Kiser-author/child advocate, to develop and design and publish web sites and book covers.
Several months ago, because of a turn in the economy, I lost my position as head of maintenance for several major hotel chains here in Georgia.
As a father of three children, one who feels that parenting is much needed in this day and age, I have decided to institute my own web design business from my small home office.
Most web designers charge anywhere from $500.00 to $1,000.00 per page for professional WS Designing. Considering the amount of time and effort it takes to design a professional site that may be a fair price. However, if economic times are difficult for me they must also be difficult on the small business owner. If we are ever going to recover from this economic mess, everyone must be willing to give as well as take. This is why I am setting my web site designing costs at a fraction of the fee other designers charge. There is no doubt that the internet/computer/cell phone is the wave of the future and is the cheapest manner in which to advertise, draw clients and to make money.
