Windmill Design specializes in messaging, usability, design and results. We work with our clients to ensure that all of their communications pieces work together as a cohesive and effective brand. We work with large and small clients from a variety of industries, both for-profit and non-profit; local, regional and national..As a full-service design firm, we offer Branding/Logo/Identity Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Print Design, Interface Design, Marketing & Communications Consulting, Content Management, Web Hosting, SEO, and other complementary services. Windmill Design is WBE Certified.

Project Phases:

Discovery: Most projects begin with a kick-off meeting, at which we go over a list of questions, topics and ideas that will inform what we do in the design phase.

Design: We typically create 2-3 design options for a new project that show different ways of accomplishing the same goal (or, sometimes, different goals). After discussing the pros and cons of each option with the client, we refine, make changes, and flesh out the design concept.

Production: After design has been settled, we begin building the end product, be it web-based or print. We pride ourselves on keeping a tight schedule. We keep you informed of project status and send proofs for approval at important milestones, ensuring that everyone's on board with the final product.

Kathy Kassera Mrozek, Principal and Creative Director ?A professional in the design field for over twelve years, Kathy has with a wide array of experience in branding, print, pre-press, web, interactive media and database-driven applications. Prior to founding Windmill Design in 2006, Kathy held the position of lead interactive designer at Barsuhn. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
